Partnership for a Drug-Free Community, Inc.
The Partnership is committed to prevention of youth alcohol and drug abuse through the process of awareness, education, and action. With an emphasis in building coalitions and mobilize the entire community to stop the demand for drugs. Working closely with local agencies to provide programs to the community. Programs range in age from preschoolers to senior citizens and are held in schools, after school youth centers and churches. The Partnership supports a musical/drama troupe, a teen court that is administered in the local middle schools, as well as a weekly cable show. Also three curriculums have been developed for elementary school aged children to educate them on the harmful effects of drugs.
